What Does "Irradiance" Mean?
Irradiance is a measure of how much light energy actually reaches your skin. Think of it like water pressure in a shower — it's not just about how much water there is, but how forcefully it arrives. In LED therapy, higher irradiance means more light energy penetrates your skin cells, which means faster, more noticeable results.
Clinical studies suggest that an irradiance of at least 20–40 mW/cm² is needed for meaningful skin benefits. Our mask delivers up to 50.6 mW/cm² — well above the threshold for clinical effectiveness.
