Wavelength Science
The Science of Light
Four clinically proven wavelengths, each targeting a specific skin concern
Your skin responds to different colors of light the way plants respond to sunlight. Each wavelength penetrates to a different depth and triggers a specific biological response. Here's what our LED mask delivers — and why it works.
Red
Red Light — 630 nm
Collagen & Anti-Aging
Think of red light as a "wake-up call" for your skin cells. It penetrates about 2–3 mm into the skin, reaching the layer where collagen is made. When collagen-producing cells (called fibroblasts) absorb this light, they start working harder — producing more collagen and elastin, the proteins that keep skin firm and smooth.
What you'll notice: Fine lines and wrinkles gradually soften. Skin feels firmer and more elastic over consistent use.
Orange
Orange Light — 605 nm
Brightening & Tone
Orange light is your skin's "brightness boost." It helps even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots and sun damage. It works by supporting your skin's natural renewal process, helping shed pigmented cells faster and encouraging fresh, even-toned skin to surface.
What you'll notice: Dullness fades. Skin looks more radiant and uniform in tone, with dark spots appearing lighter over time.
Blue
Blue Light — 460 nm
Acne & Clarity
Blue light is a natural enemy of acne-causing bacteria. When the bacteria that cause breakouts (P. acnes) are exposed to blue light, they produce a substance called porphyrin that becomes toxic to them when activated by the light. Essentially, blue light helps your skin "self-clean" from within.
What you'll notice: Fewer breakouts, less redness around blemishes, and a clearer complexion with regular use.
Near-IR
Near-Infrared — 850 nm
Deep Healing & Recovery
Near-infrared light is invisible to the human eye, but it's the deepest-penetrating wavelength in our mask. It reaches up to 5 mm below the skin's surface, where it reduces inflammation, accelerates healing, and improves blood circulation. Think of it as deep-tissue repair that works below where you can see.
What you'll notice: Reduced redness and swelling, faster recovery from skin irritation, and an overall calmer, healthier-looking complexion.
